Candidates for a job with Norda Group Inc., potential or current

We collect and process certain personal information in the course of staffing available positions in our company. We collect your personal information when you apply for a position, whether through the “Career” page on our website or by any other means. We may also check references provided by you, and on publicly available sources, such as social networks or Google. As required by applicable regulations, we may keep your personal information obtained as part of an application for a position and for future consideration.

Personal information collected when you apply for a position includes:

  • your name;
  • your professional title, if applicable;
  • your email;
  • your phone number;
  • your professional training;
  • any information included in your resume;
  • any personal information included in a cover letter, if applicable.

International transfer and processing of personal information

We have business locations in Quebec, Canada and abroad. We have servers in Canada and New Caledonia. The personal information we collect is stored or processed there. In order to carry out the mandates granted to us, it is possible that we must share certain personal information from one place of business to another. In these circumstances, your personal information may end up in a jurisdiction that does not have exactly the same legislative protections as in Quebec, in addition, this personal information may be accessible to local government agencies under court orders or local legislation.

In the event of refusal, alternative remedies will be presented to you, including the applicable deadlines for exercising them. Access to your personal information is free of charge, but you may be charged reasonable fees for the transcription, reproduction, or transmission of documents containing your personal information. These costs will be reported to you prior to any transcription, reproduction or transmission of your personal information.

Suppression

You can request to have your personal information removed from our databases. In the context of this type of request, we must take into account several elements, including in particular the legislative provisions applicable to record keeping obligations.
