Specialized modules to meet your specific challenges

Stelar's development philosophy gives way to the creation of integrated tools that transform the practice of asset sustainability experts in order to extend the life of assets, and thus have a positive impact on the environment and the community.

The openness and flexibility of the platform is translated into modules. These add specific analysis or simulation functionalities by type of asset. They can also add operational functionalities for the collection, management of interventions or the visualization of data. The modules can also take the form of a connector to a CMMS system, an ERP or any other relevant software.

CAPEX module

This module facilitates the management of asset portfolio projects. It allows organizations to plan, approve, and monitor the entire CAPEX and OPEX investment process. It offers the opportunity to prioritize integrity-related projects within the project portfolio based on the benefits and performance indicators targeted. For example, it can also simulate which project should be postponed in the event of a reduction in the CAPEX budget in order to minimize the effect on the risk profile or any other indicator.

Module under development

In addition to modules developed by third parties, the Stelar team is currently developing modules that allow for a host of possible applications. You can help prioritize the development calendar by letting us know what feature you prefer. In addition, it is possible to suggest a module to be developed. We are constantly seeking to respond as precisely as possible to the challenges of our customers.
Health Index Module | 215 votes
Based on data from the core platform, this module assesses the health index of each asset in the portfolio. This index provides a real-time view of the health status of an asset. The condition is accompanied by a level of risk related to the potential consequences of asset failure. For example, asset health indices can be used to generate alerts in advance of potential failures, and their risk levels can tell the manager which assets represent the majority of total risk exposure. The module also provides an order of magnitude of the time before a potential failure of each asset.
Aging Assessment Module | 197 votes
This module makes it possible to simulate the effects of the active degradation mechanism in order to predict the future health status of an asset, the risks and the remaining useful life. It also makes it possible to compare several options such as regular preventive maintenance, reconditioning or replacement of equipment. A risk-based lifecycle methodology can then be used to select the best option taking into account the following parameters and goals:
- lowest life cycle cost;
- the shortest payback time;
- appropriate risk controls;
- desired level of resilience.

Simulation tools are developed by experts, and AI algorithms are trained and optimized by experts. They allow the asset manager to verify the effect of an intervention such as a major repair on the health index and the risk profile of the asset; these tools also make it possible to project the remaining life as well as the best future actions. All Stelar modules are linked, which means that new inspection data entered into the platform will automatically update the health index, aging assessment, and capital expenditure modules.
Environment | 137 votes
This module makes it possible to measure the environmental results produced (e.g. GHG emissions due to the manufacture of the asset or its operation) or the resources used (e.g. water, energy) by asset in order to link them to its state of health.

Stelar can monitor the health of all assets but for the moment, in collaboration with the experts at Norda Stelo, we have prioritized the following asset families: port assets (docks and jetties), pipe networks, railway networks (including bridges, culverts), rail networks (including bridges, culverts), pressure vessels, treatment and storage tanks, buildings and structures.

Based on market needs and our know-how, we therefore targeted heavy industries, in particular the mining and metallurgical sectors, ports, and railway installations.
ESG | 86 votes
The ESG module allows companies to visualize the impact of their projects on their ESG audit score. This tool offers the possibility to enter all the information required for ESG audits. The module makes it possible to visualize the strengths and weaknesses of the organization in order to then plan targeted interventions. The company will be in a position to monitor the positive impacts on their ESG score according to the projects implemented. A dashboard will compile the data and make it easier to monitor performance indicators.
GMAO | 286 votes
A computer-aided maintenance management system (CMMS) is a software that manages information about an organization's maintenance operations. This information is meant to help maintenance personnel do their jobs more efficiently. This system makes it easy to manage multiple activities: work orders, inspection schedules, maintenance costs, inventory, and spare parts prices. CMMS data can be used to verify regulatory compliance. A CMMS also allows for record keeping, in order to track completed and assigned tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner. This operational data is combined with that of Stelar, which allows for greater maintenance efficiency based on the real health and behavior of an asset.
RBI (inspection based on risk rating) | 154 votes
The RBI (Risk Rating Based Inspection) module allows businesses to adjust the inspection frequency based on the risk associated with particular assets, such as pressure equipment, tanks, tanks, pipes, or gas lines. Stelar's RBI module is flexible and adaptive. It includes all the calculations that make it possible to comply with the recognized API 581 methodology in addition to having the ability to adjust to other recognized standards or to internal standards. The inspection data entered into the Stelar Foundation on an ongoing basis allows the risk rating of the RBI module to be automatically updated.

This module allows companies to invest in the right places in order to maintain the reliability, integrity and sustainability of assets. It is no substitute for the responsibility to comply with standards, but it is a valuable aid in dealing with a complex set of parameters. It also makes it possible to maximize the availability and performance of assets in addition to facilitating compliance with regulations and the protection of people, as well as that of the environment and communities.

Tools to operationalize the management of the performance of your assets.

In order to fuel the platform's capabilities, Stelar makes relevant and useful tools available. The functionalities of the platform are thus orchestrated to allow scalable use, giving access to simple to the most efficient functions.

A platform for data management and strategic planning in asset sustainability.

Stelar supports all of your operations to maintain the health of your assets. Thanks to the mobile application, your inspectors enter their observations via dynamic forms. Data consistency, centralization, and structure allow trends to be displayed, and are used to support in-depth analysis by sustainability experts. The resulting personalized dashboards speed up and document your decisions.
