The foundation of the platform is the equivalent of a medical file of industrial assets containing vital signs, symptoms, diagnoses, treatments, test results, for an equipment or an infrastructure. Centralizing data allows you to consult all asset information at a glance, in addition to comparing an asset and its data with that of other similar assets. This data can then be shared with various specialists to improve their analyses and position themselves on adapted solutions.
To organize data, each asset type is represented by its own structure of parameters. The elements and sub-elements are segmented appropriately to easily filter asset types and perform concrete calculations or analyses.
Asset classification logically structures assets by organization and by site. Each asset is then broken down into multiple components. The consistency in the structure makes it easy to compare similar assets and to easily and quickly select the items you are looking for. In addition, this structure makes it possible to specify and adapt the asset management approach. Thus, two assets of the same type (e.g. pumps) may contain different components that need to be inspected or monitored. This improves and standardizes the structure for performing calculations.
A form is a logical sequence of questions that is designed to gather information about a specific type of asset. It is prepared by an expert in managing this type of asset. The form is built into sections including questions to guide the inspection on which components (sub-assets) to monitor. The Stelar form engine offers great flexibility to adapt to different applications. The tool replaces all paper forms linked to assets. It makes it possible to digitize and standardize all information entry in addition to automatically structuring it.
The mobile application is available on all platforms (iOS, Android, Linux, Windows). It is functional offline and online. Data entered offline are synchronized to the central platform on demand, once connected to Internet access. It uses the phone or tablet camera in addition to GPS data. During an inspection, it is possible to view previous inspections for each of the forms. The mobile application makes possible the collaboration of authorized partners (from external organizations) who can fill out forms for the organization. It makes it easy and fast to gather information on the integrity of equipment and infrastructures.
Stelar makes it possible to quickly generate and share a report with all the data of an inspection, especially with stakeholders who are unfamiliar or do not have access to the platform. You will be able to automate generic inspection reports including the complete answers of all questions (quantitative and qualitative) as well as the photos attached to the inspections.
The dashboard is customizable based on an organization's goals and asset types. It presents the overall health of an asset supported by all inspection data and analyses performed by a sustainability expert or by the platform's algorithms. The results are illustrated in the form of graphs of various types. Among other things, it allows you to visualize an inspection summary that is both quantitative and qualitative. In addition, it makes it possible to distinguish and identify trends by processing the terms used per response. It will thus be possible to quickly ascertain the percentage of critical defects among the numerous defects identified during inspections.
Stelar is open, alive and evolving. Available in Python and Javascript, the system makes available a development kit (SDK, Software Development Kit). This kit reflects all the possible operations for interconnecting and accessing data to create, modify and delete data: organizations, users, sites, assets, actions. This allows you to easily process, import or export the data from the platform to leave you in full control. The SDK encourages the creation of modules or tools to improve the capabilities of the platform.
